Civil Engineering Students Embark on Internship Program at the International School

Danang, 09 September – The International School of Duy Tan University proudly launched its Civil Engineering Internship Program, offering students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with leading engineering firms and real-world construction projects.

This internship initiative is designed to bridge academic learning and professional practice, allowing students to apply classroom knowledge to real engineering challenges. Through partnerships with reputable companies in the fields of structural design, construction management, transportation engineering, and sustainable infrastructure, students are exposed to the full scope of civil engineering practice.

“Our goal is to cultivate globally competent engineers who not only master technical skills but also understand the importance of sustainability, ethics, and innovation,” said Dr. Duc Tran-Van, Dean of the International School.

During the internship, students participate in on-site supervision, project documentation, quality control testing, and digital modeling using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D. They also receive mentorship from experienced engineers who guide them in translating theoretical knowledge into professional competence.

The internship serves as a key milestone in the Civil Engineering curriculum at the International School, reinforcing the school’s commitment to industry integration, practical learning, and international standards in engineering education.

“This experience helped me see how engineering decisions affect communities and the environment,” shared Mr. Toan Le-Quoc, K27CSU-XDD. “It’s motivating to know that our studies have a real-world impact.”

The International School will continue to expand partnerships with both local and international firms, ensuring that its Civil Engineering graduates are fully prepared for a competitive and rapidly evolving global industry.
