Resolving its strategic objective of international collaboration, up to now, DTU has partnered with more than fifty universities worldwide, participated in many well-known international organizations and expand relationships with big international enterprises operating in Viet Nam. These lay a sound foundation for DTU to gain more and more impressive achievements in education and research.
Collaboration to Train the Trainer, Exchange Faculties and Students
In 2008, DTU collaborated with Carnegie Mellon University - one of the top four American universities for IT, to implement advanced programs in Software Engineering and Management Information System.
In 2010, DTU partnered with Pennsylvania State University (PSU), one of the top fifty universities for Business Management and Hospitality and Tourism, to implement programs in Business Administration, Accountancy, Finance & Banking, Hotel and Restaurant Management.
In 2011, DTU collaborated with California State University, CSU Fullerton and Cal Poly, to implement the first and only advanced program for Architecture and Civil Engineering in Central Vietnam.
On September 26, 2020, the Faculty of International Education was renamed the Institute of International Education to fulfill the new mission and strategic vision of Duy Tan University by 2030. With a team of more than 54 full-time lecturers: 20% hold doctoral degrees, 100% hold master's degrees, and most of them graduated from advanced universities, along with a support/advisory staff of 12 people. The Institute of International Education will continue striving to become an international training institution that not only recruits and trains Vietnamese students but also aims to recruit about 5-10% international students in the next 5 to 10 years. The Institute of International Education - Duy Tan University is recognized as a leading educational institution with contributions towards high-quality education, helping students be ready to integrate into both domestic and international work environments.
