On the afternoon of October 21, 2018, 12 students of Duy Tan University entered the Round Two of the 17th CPA Contest - 2018. After the competitions, 4 students of the best of the Duy Tan University, Nguyen Hong Xuyen, Nguyen Ngoc Tram Khue, Do Ngoc Khanh and Hoang Yen gained the right to go to the next round.
On July 27, DTU International School IT students presented their products to Axon Active Vietnam as part of the “Agile Scrum Software” development course, jointly organized with Axon Active Vietnam and taught by their CIO, Sebastian Sussmann.
From November 23rd to 29th, two lecturers and six students from the DTU faculties of Environmental Engineering, Pharmacology and the International School took part in the annual CDIO training course at Singapore Polytechnic. The course enabled fifty DTU and Singapore Polytechnic students to meet and exchange CDIO information.
On October 2nd, the DTU International School hosted the Software Fast Development competition entitled, called “The Hour of Code” and 35 teams of 280 students attended, along with local IT firms, the DTU Board of Provosts, lecturers and students from the DTU International School.
On November 16th, the DAC Tech Vietnam company met up with DTU students majoring in IT to introduce them to Advertising Technology and internship opportunities. The event attracted more than 200 students from the DTU Faculty of Information Technology and the International School.
On March 25th, the DTU International School held a seminar about the education and skills required to become a successful IT engineer. 300 students attended to understand current trends and requirements in their field and hear about the types of career opportunities for IT graduates. Leaders of start-up companies, software project managers, information and network security professionals and data integration experts briefed the DTU students.
DTU and Neolab Vietnam jointly organized a seminar entitled “2018 Technology Trends” and signed an agreement to facilitate academic exchanges and share work experiences with technology students before they graduate into the workplace.
On October 28th, the DTU International School and the BAP IT Company held a seminar entitled “BlockChain and Applications in Real-time”.
