Course Description:
The Money and Banking course is devided into 2 parts. Part one includes the following topics: an introduction to financial assets including money, measurement of and dealing with financial risk; interest rates, financial intermediaries, corperate finance, state finance and household finance. While the focus will be on the United States, this course will help students make comparisons between Vietnamese financial institutions and monetary policy and its U.S. counterparts. Parts of what is generally contained in a Money and Banking course may also be covered in Finance classes
