Course Description: 
Principles of Macroeconomics is an introductory undergraduate course that teaches the fundamentals of macroeconomics. Macroeconomics applies the basic principles of economics to whole economic systems and the relationships among sectors of the economy. Topics include output and national income, economic growth, business cycles, unemployment, inflation, AD-AS model and fiscal policy, the role of the banking system, MS-MD and monetary policy, and international economic focusing on international trade, exchange rate and balance of payment. The course emphasizes the development of conceptual tools to analyze the economic problems facing modern society.
