Course Description:
This course covers the study of human resource management (HRM) within an organization and emphasizes how each of the functional activities of HRM can support the organization’s strategy, including Planning, Staffing, Training/Development, Total Rewards (Compensation, Benefits, and Bonuses), Performance Management, Employee Relations, Labor Relations, and Risk Management (Health-Safety-Security). Labor law topics are also embedded within the discussion about each of these functions. The course also integrates SAP/ERP systems to demonstrate how technology can optimize HR processes and align them with organizational goals.
