On the afternoon of October 21, 2018, 12 students of Duy Tan University entered the Round Two of the 17th CPA Contest - 2018. After the competitions, 4 students of the best of the Duy Tan University, Nguyen Hong Xuyen, Nguyen Ngoc Tram Khue, Do Ngoc Khanh and Hoang Yen gained the right to go to the next round.

Potential CPA is an annual contest organized by Accounting Faculty and Auditing - Accounting Club A2C, University of Economics of Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh City has coordinated with many universities all over the country. The competition is a useful playground for students in Accounting, Auditing, and Finance to have the opportunity to exchange, learn, improve their knowledge and improve their English skills. In addition, the CPA Competition also helps students get acquainted with the CPA International Certification Exam, update information on career development trends, helps students to better direct their career. Especially having the opportunity to work in multinational companies like KPMG, Unilever, Suntory Pepsi, McMasters', etc.
The 2018 CPA Competition was kicked off on August 25, 2018 and the Preliminary Round was held on the website www.tracnghiem.a2cclub.com for contestants in Quy Nhon and Da Nang. Out at 0h on 11/10/2018 to 24h on October 23, 2018. More than 260 candidates from Duy Tan University took part in the Preliminary Selection Contest and the top 12 contestants were selected to compete in Round Two of the 2018 Potential CPA.

In the second round, 12 Duy Tan students were divided into 4 teams and had to pass 3 sections including Part 1 - Conquering Knowledge, Part 2 - Knowledge Decoding and Part 3 - Knowledge Processing. Throughout each contest, Duy Tan students have demonstrated their knowledge and knowledge in various fields such as Financial Accounting, Taxation, Economic Law, International Auditing, ... and other socio-economic knowledge. Besides, the jury is also very impressed with the confidence, logical thinking and the eloquent ability of English students Duy Tan.
End of Round 2, 4 students of Duy Tan University, including Nguyen Hong Xuyen - K22 KEU QTH, Nguyen Ngoc Tram Khue - Class K22 KEU QTH, Do Ngoc Khanh - K21 class KSU1 and Hoàng Yến - Class K21 KEU QTH has received a "Passport" to continue competing with contestants from other universities nationwide in Round 3. Round 3 will take place from 2 to 7/11/2018 in the United Studying in Economics Ho Chi Minh City in the form of self-examination and soft skills test in the form of individual to test the ability of reasoning, in-depth knowledge and skills of students.
As one of the 4 candidates in Round 3, Nguyen Ngoc Tram Khue shared: "During the preparation for Round 2, I like the other candidates are spending more time to revise and foster much knowledge. Not only specialized in Accounting - Auditing but also various economic and financial knowledge. We also received the enthusiastic support from the teachers in the school from the guide to find resources, select materials, planning review ... To confidently compete in Round 3, will spend more time for revising and improving English language skills and knowledge."
